Message What you should of done was remove the black stopper pin first before removing the speedo needle. But here's what I did to correct mine. You will need to take out the cluster again and pull the stopper pin(don't lose it like I did, but it's not necessary)on the speedo gauge. Now reinstall the cluster but leave the clear plastic shield off when reinstalling the cluster so you can adjust the needle when it sticks. Firmly push the speedo needle all the way down and gently lift it up. Flick the needle with your finger to see that it bounces around freely. The needle should be resting below the "0" mph. I went out and took a look at mine and it's just above "the cut out window" for the boost gauge. Depending on where your needle is at, you will need to move it to the spot just above the boost gauge window as I stated above. Adjusting the needle is easy, as you can see by turning the needle all the way to the left and right, it has a stop point. Just spin it past these stop points to adjust. When you turn on the ignition, the needle should move to 0 mph. If not, turn off the ignition and adjust the needle and recheck that it hits 0 when you turn on the ignition again. Now follow a friend in his/her car at a constant speed just to make sure the speed is correct. Reinstall the shield when everything is working fine.
